You will receive at home this amazing wine. The Oxer Bastegieta winery brings us Kalamity, first produced from the 2014 harvest and launched in 2016. 50% Tempranillo, 47% Garnacha, 2% Viura, 1% Garnacha Blanca. It was created with the aim of combining different grape varieties and different sub-regions (Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa) in a single wine.
The name and its striking label express Oxer’s admiration for Shakespeare. “Honi soit qui mal y pense” (Disgrace befalls the one who misthinks). It saw the light in the 2014 vintage, with the idea of uniting a selection of the best grapes from the Elvillar (Rioja Alavesa) and Cárdenas (Rioja Alta) vineyards. Production: 2,600 bottles of 0.75 cl.
The tasting will be led by the prestigious Basque winemaker Oxer Basteguieta. This is a personalized tasting in which you can ask us anything you want and we will teach you the essence of our work, a tasting tailored for you.

KALAMITY saw
the light in the 2014 vintage with the idea of uniting the best grapes
from the Elvillar, Rioja Alavesa and Cárdenas de
Rioja Alta vineyards. It combines grapes from the 1919 vineyards of Elvillar
(Rioja Alavesa) and 1903 of Cárdenas (Rioja Alta).
Kalamity shows complexity and variety of aromas. Black and red fruit, floral
notes with violets in the background and light sweet spices. A wine of good
acidity, mineral and of enormous length, which owes its name and label to Oxer
Basteguieta’s passion for Shakespeare.
The tasting
kit (1 bottle) is designed for a maximum of 2-3 attendees, so if the attending
group is made up of more people, we recommend the purchase of an additional

Refund will be offered only in the event that the tasting kit with the products has not been sent yet or is defective. Otherwise, the client may request a refund directly to our email juanjo@doowine.com, and we will assess the exchange for another product and the conditions.
If you wish to cancel your order, please send an email to juanjo@doowine.com indicating the reference, amount and name of the recipient. Cancellations are not accepted in the event that the tasting kit with the products has already been sent.
Once the tasting date is specified, the client can cancel up to 24 hours before in order to specify a new date and time. In cases of no force majeure, you can only change the date up to a maximum of three times.
